If you want to create a page titled "Adding A Third Side", you simply go to the page titled [[Adding_A_Third_Side]] and start writing. Please use the Preview before submitting, make sure the material you're submitting is accurate, nd try to use the categorize your material (See [[Help:Editing]] for how to do that).

I saw that. It's incomplete (only deals with RA2/YR and part of RA1), so it's technically not a "CnC timeline", but rather a "RA2/YR timeline". Not to mention, RA1 allied win does not logically relate with RA2. Else Dugan's claim "I was the one who put you in office!" wouldn't make much sense - US was not mentioned in RA1, so how would it have influence over the selection of the new USSR's puppet dictator? IMO, RA2 is a different, completely unrelated storyline. So is Generals. As I mentioned in the article, the PlanetCNC's Encyclopedia is a very detailed read regarding this subject. -- DCoder

As far as I know, Westwood/EA specifically stated that RA2 is not part of the C&C timeline.

Though does the RA2 setup not show the events of RA1 won by the allies followed by the events before RA2?

chpatrick 00:31, 2 May 2005 (CDT)

Yes, but it seems like EA decided that RA2 is still not a prequel to TibDawn. What's possible is that RA2 plays in some kind of alternate reality to TD...or that EA decides to ignore what they said and connect both timelines through RA3.

Renegade 09:19, 2 May 2005 (CDT)

AFAIK Kane only appeared in the Soviet ending, therefore the alternate reality is explained as in my diagram. If the Soviets win, the world goes into the Tiberian universe and if the allies win, the world goes into the Red Alert 2 universe. What is unexplained is why events changing on earth would stop the Tiberium meteorite. Perhaps they haven't, and Generals turns out to take place between allied YR and the RA tiberium age. I omitted post-RA2 in the diagram because it lacks time travel. The only problem with this theory is a newcaster mentioning GDI in the RA1 Allied campaign.

chpatrick 11:15, 2 May 2005 (CDT)

It's not only a newscaster. IIRC, the generals talk about the GDI in some briefings as well.

Question about posting information.

I don't know sure if this is a good spot for asking it, but if you reply please reply to my talk page. I had a question about how to post new pages: How do I post new pages? I want to add some usefull stuff for the beginning modders about my ehrm... "experiences" around modding (or: don't bother about this, it doesn't work.) So if you tell me how to do it, I'll put the new pages on place. Then can I also put the pages about the tutorial for beginning modders. Thank you,
