And what prevented you from expanding the template yourself? And, if there really was something: As you can see, the standard-template can still be used to include most information, rather than doing an all-new header.

Just to make this clear: I have no problem with suggestions like that. I just don't understand how on one hand, you find the time to create a custom header and two talks how the current template is inadequate, but on the other hand can't be arsed to do the change yourself...
