Allied General An weapon in RA2 is an object which normally deals damage.

In RA2, an object can have 4 four weapons

Primary= ; main weapon usually MG, cannon Secondary= ; anti-aircraft or deploy ElitePrimary= ; new weapon to use when at 3 chevron status EliteSecondary= ;new weapon to use when at 3 chevron status

The IFV has multiple weapons dependent upon infantry inside.

Weapons are modifed by a variety of factors including garrisoning and opentopped=yes which often effect damage, range and rate of fire (ROF)

Special weapons such as virtualscanner and v3launcher are often used by AI for targeting purposes or for spawning logic to work correctly.
