ModEnc:Inclusion of DeeZire's Red Alert 2 and Yuris Revenge INI Editing Guide

From ModEnc

The C&C Modding Encyclopedia's team of authors would like to note that it is not their intention to rip off DeeZire's Red Alert 2 and Yuris Revenge INI Editing Guide. We are well aware of the stance we have shown towards rips of our own concept and other rippers before, and would therefore like to clarify some things.

  1. It's not ripping if you acknowledge someone else's authorship. All of DeeZire's entries are clearly marked, and nobody pretends they're ours.
  2. The inclusion is only temporary. We are still missing over a thousand entries for specific rules flags, and ModEnc is simply never going to grow if users don't stay because The Guide provides more information than we do. Many of our articles already exceed the Guide's original volume on the topic and/or include information that was actually wrong in the Guide. We just need these entries at this very moment to provide a complete encyclopedia even before all entries were written.
  3. All of DeeZire's entries are not only marked, but grouped together in Category:DeeZire_definitions, so all we have to do is go through that category and re-write each and every entry over time, not only including the information already present, but also information won from research over the past years and due to pd's work.

Once more: The reason the Guide-entries are here is not that we're too lazy to write entries ourselves. We just want to make sure that, as long as we haven't written a true ModEnc-page for something ourselves yet, visitors get useful information anyway. DeeZire's definitions will all be replaced, one at a time. It'll just take some time.

And it'd actually go faster if, instead of reading this, you'd go re-write some articles. :P

Now that that's said, all those who want to scream "ripper" can meet my hammer of admin here.
