What is Phobos?
...is a community engine extension project providing a set of new features and fixes for Yuri's Revenge based on YRpp and Syringe to allow injecting code. It's meant to accompany Ares rather than replace it, thus it won't introduce incompatibilities. While Phobos is independent of Ares and does NOT require Ares specifically to function, Phobos complements some of the features found in Ares and vice versa. You can discuss the project at a dedicated channel on C&C Mod Haven.

The Phobos Issue is the place to see all the features that have been requested, and what their current status is. It is also used for request features.

Regarding the version number Build#49 that does not actually exist
- Phobos does not actually have the version number DevBuild#49.
After DevBuild#48, the developers began to construct a new version management framework and have since abandoned the DevBuild#X series. The actual next version should be named Release v0.5 or Pre-Release v0.5 alpha, but this has not yet been confirmed. The new version management framework is still in the conceptual stage. Therefore, many places on ModEnc have chosen to continue using the DevBuild#X representation, and increment it by one based on 48, to indicate changes in Phobos after DevBuild#48 and before Release v0.5.
