This could just be fubar on my end (bad ini-tagging) but LandTargeting=2 combined with NavalTargeting=7 seems to prevent units from passively acquiring targets on land or sea. They also will not engage targets during an attack-move order. If this is true and just a result of something on my end, it should be noted on this page and [[NavalTargeting]] as well. --[[Special:Contributions/164.76.187.234|164.76.187.234]] 23:39, 13 February 2010 (UTC) | This could just be fubar on my end (bad ini-tagging) but LandTargeting=2 combined with NavalTargeting=7 seems to prevent units from passively acquiring targets on land or sea. I feel that this article missinforms about the AG/AA/AN/AS logic. To take the example described, I could achieve the same effect by adding the AS=yes tag to the secondary weapon. However, the Naval/Ground -targeting logic is easier to use as you only need to find the unit in question to change it, rather than both weapons.

so you are saying the AN and AS tags still work? i supose this could be used as a basis for the 3rd and 4th weapons logic to specify what weapons can shoot at what rather than trying to add more states to LandTargeting and NavalTargeting//Bobingabout 12:22, 8 June 2007 (CEST)
Issue?
This could just be fubar on my end (bad ini-tagging) but LandTargeting=2 combined with NavalTargeting=7 seems to prevent units from passively acquiring targets on land or sea. They also will not engage targets during an attack-move order. If this is true and not just a result of something on my end, it should be noted on this page and NavalTargeting as well. --164.76.187.234 23:39, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
