It determines whether the transport will automatically return to the previous loading position, after unloading.
In Tiberian Sun To Firestorm
This rather infamous flag would supposedly make transports automatically return to where they left after unloading their passengers. However, it does not work. If the transport is excluded from the team after unloading its passengers, it will simply stand still, waiting to be destroyed or recruited into another team.
In Red Alert 2 To Yuri's Revenge
Regardless of the value of the unload script, the transport will return.
- If the transport has not executed the load script, the above behavior will not take effect. The transport will not do anything or respond to the following scripts after unloading.
Notes
When executing the loading script, even if no new passengers are actually loaded, the return location will still be updated. This means that when the loading position is not the position you want it to return to, you can have transport load it beforehand then move it to the designated position to load again.
Bugs/Side-Effects/Unexpected Limitations
When the transport is fully loaded and all passengers loaded by the transport have the Size=1 setting, it will not return.
