The XCC Map Encoder and Decoder is capable of compressing your TS and RA2 map files to a format that is 3 times smaller than ZIP format. You can use the tool to create an MMX file, or a Map MIX, which won't cause delays whenever you load up RA2. The tool is also used to create an XMMF file, which is a compressed map file. These files can then be turned back into Map files with the Decoder tool. It makes transferring maps over the internet that much easier, as file sizes are much smaller.
