Flag: | Morphable |
File(s): | Terrain Control INI |
Values: | Boolean values: yes or no, true or false, 1 or 0 |
Default: | false |
Applicable to: | TileSets |
This flag controls if the tiles in this tileset can be "morphed" in various ways. If set, it enables
- warheads to deform the tiles (only in Tiberian Sun because Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge are made from an early TS build that didn't have Terrain Deformation)
- pavement to be placed on the tiles (unless it's a slope or otherwise cannot be built on)
- smudges to appear on the tiles after explosions
In addition, the FinalAlert and FinalSun map editors use this flag to determine if the tiles should be affected by the raise/lower/flatten ground tools. If the tileset has Morphable=yes set, then these tools can override the tiles with slopes. On the other hand, Morphable=no tilesets, such as cliffs or shores, are unaffected by slope generation.
