Either Ares decoupled the requirement, or InfDeath=8 only forces the particles when using VIRUSD. I've changed the animation InfDeath=8 uses to something else entirely and it does not spawn particles upon an infantry dying, nor does it crash when an infantry dies then plays that death animation. Needs proper non-Ares testing to say for certain though. // Beowulf
