The particle system used when the Firestorm Defense destroys something that collides with it when active. This must be listed in the [ParticleSystems] section as well as being defined as all other particle systems in RULES.INI.

The particle system to be spawned randomly between 7 and 9 times each time {{f|FirestormWarhead|link}} destroys either a unit or an aircraft (but not infantry). This tag has to be set to a valid particle system if {{f|FirestormWarhead}} is set and the warhead used is able to damage units. It does not matter whether the object was destroyed by an active Firestorm wall.
 
{{f|DefaultFirestormExplosionSystem}} is not available in {{ra2}} and {{yr}}.

Logic related to DefaultFirestormExplosionSystem, as a whole or in part, is obsolete in Red Alert 2 and/or Yuri's Revenge.
