Logic related to FirestormGroundAnim, as a whole or in part, is obsolete in Red Alert 2 and/or Yuri's Revenge.



An animation played whenever an active FirestormWall=yes section destroys an object close to the ground. If the object is higher than 100 leptons above the ground, FirestormAirAnim is used instead. This tag has to be set to a valid animation if the Firestorm is used.

Notes

FirestormGroundAnim is not available in Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge.

  • In version 0.1, Ares reimplemented this logic, refer to documentation.

Anecdote

An interesting fact is: this flag was originally left over in Red Alert 2, but was removed during the development of Yuri's Revenge, until it was re-added in version Ares 0.A. However, the ChargeToDrainRatio, which originally served Firestorm alongside it, has been retained all along.
