File(s): Rules(md).ini
Values: Boolean values: yes or no, true or false, 1 or 0
Default: yes
Applicable to: MultiplayerDialogSettings

Specifies whether the map is initially filled with shroud. If set to no, all areas are initially revealed.

Notes

According to the rules under ShroudGrow=yes, when Shroud=no, the shroud will grow from the map boundaries at intervals controlled by ShroudRate.

Bugs/Side-Effects/Unexpected Limitations

However, Shroud=no is more akin to inverting the revealed and shrouded areas. For instance, a weapon with RevealOnFire=yes will fill the surrounding area with shroud each time it fires.
