By the way, our wiki has now added a visual editor, so your previous concerns about the learning cost of wikitext can be alleviated to some extent.

Considering you are an old user registered in 2022, you may need to go to Preferences → Editing → Enable the visual editor to turn it on. Similarly for Inline Previews, see here.
