Landable
Flag: | Landable |
File(s): | rules(md).ini |
Values: | ERROR – No value types set! Please edit this page and fix the Flag template! |
Applicable to: | InfantryTypes, VehicleTypes, AircraftTypes, BuildingTypes |
Can be set to 'yes' or 'no' and determines whether or not this AircraftType is able to land either on the map or a structure with Helipad=yes set. Strangely, this defaults to 'no' so you must set this to 'yes' to get aircraft to land. Is only set to 'no' for the Paradrop plane in Red Alert 2 to make sure it never actually tries to land.
Bugs/Side-Effects/Unexpected Limitations
- Causes AircraftTypes to gain the Selectable=no effect if Landable=no on AircraftTypes.
- But if it also has Spawned=yes, then it is necessary to specify Selectable=no to achieve the effect of being unselectable.
- That is, Spawned=yes will allow the value of Selectable to be effectively manually defined again, even in the case of Landable=no.
- Therefore, you must manually specify Selectable=no for Airstrike planes and spy planes.
- Rather than simply assuming that the AircraftTypes cannot be selected due to having Landable=no and omitting it as a result.
- But if it also has Spawned=yes, then it is necessary to specify Selectable=no to achieve the effect of being unselectable.
- if they are attacked by Magnetron while this AircraftTypes is in the air if Magnetron cancels the attack. When AircraftTypes with Landable=no hits the ground, it dies instantly.
- If you use Chronosphere with AircraftTypes with tags Landable=no when AircraftTypes with Landable=no reaches its destination. Will keep flying until leaving the area
- If we sell an airport that produces AircraftTypes with Landable=no when there is no airport. AircraftTypes with Landable=no will fly in circles.
