If set, when scanning for targets this unit can aim at friendly units as well as enemy ones.

Notes

If a unit has either AttackFriendlies=yes or AttackCursorOnFriendlies=yes, it will get an Attack cursor on friendly objects. Therefore, you might need to hold down the Alt key to make it use Enter on those necessary targets, just like when attacking an object that normally uses Enter requires holding down Ctrl key.

Bugs/Side-Effects/Unexpected Limitations

Objects with ally target and AttackFriendlies=true having their target reset every frame, particularly AI-owned buildings.
