Flag: | Enslaves |
File(s): | rules(md).ini |
Values: | Strings: Normal text. (Limited to: names of InfantryTypes) |
Default: | null |
Applicable to: | TechnoTypes:
AircraftTypes, BuildingTypes, InfantryTypes and VehicleTypes |
Specify the Infantry type used as Slave Workers for the Slave Miner, see Yuri Slave Miner.
Notes
When the Slave Miner is destroyed, the Slave Workers will be liberated and join the House that liberated them. At this point they will no longer use miner-related logic and behaviors, but instead will idle normally like regular Infantry and can attack using weapons.
Automatic List Inclusion
InfantryTypes used as values for this flag are automatically listed under the internal [InfantryTypes] array. However no harm can be done by listing them manually.
Bugs/Side-Effects/Unexpected Limitations
Since the lethal source of the Type=LightningStorm superweapon cannot be traced back to a House, the slave workers liberated by this method will belong to the neutral House.
If applied to Infantry or Vehicle, this will cause them to be recognized by the AI as slave miner-type units, resulting in their production numbers not adhering to AI Triggers and failing to properly execute scripts and cause them behave like mineral harvesting vehicles (When it's near Tiberium, it moves around trying to collect Tiberium).
- But the specified InfantryTypes only comes out of BuildingTypes Only.
Adding flag Enslaves to AircraftTypes will cause the AI to order them to attack their target immediately. without waiting for normal group gathering
