File(s): rules(md).ini
Values: Boolean values: yes or no, true or false, 1 or 0
Default: no
Applicable to: TechnoTypes:

AircraftTypes, BuildingTypes, InfantryTypes and VehicleTypes

This setting determines whether the techno will use a spray-like firing pattern when employing the weapon.

Notes

When projectile Arcing=no, it will randomly fire towards eight cells around the unit even without OmniFire=yes.

When projectile Arcing=yes, it will only fire properly when attacking specific directions despite having OmniFire=yes, often resulting in projectile dispersion at impact points.

Since the spray mechanism fundamentally alters firing coordinates, unlike Inaccurate=yes / FlakScatter=yes on projectiles, visual effects like IsLaser will shift their impact points synchronously with actual projectile trajectories when used on such weapons.

Bugs/Side-Effects/Unexpected Limitations

These weapons don't support effects like IsSonic, but will conventionally disable direct Damage and AnimList when using IsSonic (refer to IsSonic).

When enabled on Parasite units, it permanently prevents successful parasitism - units get ejected immediately upon projectile impact and are forcibly deselected (overriding ReselectIfLimboed=yes).
