Flag: | Paralyzes |
File(s): | rules(md).ini |
Values: | Boolean values: yes or no, true or false, 1 or 0 |
Default: | no |
Applicable to: | Warheads |
Can be used to 'paralyse' the target. This should be set to the number of frames for which the paralysis should last. For the logic to work, it is required to be attached to a Parasite=yes warhead on a LimboLaunch=yes type weapon. This is used on the Squid to stop the target moving while it inflicts its 'rocking damage' in Yuri's Revenge.
DeeZire once used this logic to create an EMP Tank in Red Alert 2.
Note
This only affects movement; it does not prevent the unit from rotating its Turret and firing.
Since it must be used together with Parasite=yes, it can only be effective on a single target.
Bugs/Side-Effects/Unexpected Limitations
This does not apply to the situation where the unit's target is AI's InfantryTypes, and even a moving VehicleTypes must continue to move to the next cell.

The DeeZire's_Red_Alert_2_and_Yuris_Revenge_INI_Editing_Guide once said that this Flag affects the ROF and Damage of Squid-like behaviour for Parasite. In fact, they are unrelated; those are properties inherent to Squid-like behaviour for Parasite.
