Note: the following wishlist is now OBSOLETE, stored for archiving purposes only.

  • Changing multiplayer protocol to TCP/IP
  • Adding 'direct connect' by IP
  • Adding a command-line option to start a game as spectator -> fake dedicated server
  • 'Mod' column in server view (displaying text from 'Name=' entry in rules.md, [General] section)
  • Rulesmd.ini entry to remove the 'Single Player' button in menu for multiplayer-only mods (like in Counter-Strike 1.5)-> "Gametype=Multi/Single/Normal"
  • Remove a bug which forgets downloaded maps. When joining a game with the same map again without having restarted YR, the map is downloaded again.
