Logic related to Deformation, as a whole or in part, is obsolete in Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge.


Deformation is a system introduced in Tiberian Sun that allows warheads to create three-dimensional craters in the terrain, as opposed to purely visual smudges. Deformation is controlled by the following flags:

In addition, deformation is only possible on map height levels greater than 0. Naturally you can't dig into height levels that don't exist.

If the above criteria are met, the warhead will create a 2x2 or 3x3 crater on impact, depending on the available terrain.
