This is not just a visual effect. The existence of the parachute will have a real impact on the projectile.

This is very obvious on the Vertical projectile. You need to use Acceleration to offset its impact
Specifies if the animation from General should be drawn on the projectile.

*Although it is said that this statement has lost its effect since TS and later, it is also said that it can only be enabled through a specific combination of INI statements. But Ares has fully supported this logic. You can directly use it as a general Projectile tag

Default: no
Applicable to: Projectiles

Logic related to Parachuted, as a whole or in part, is obsolete in Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2. In Yuri's Revenge it can be used with Ares.

In Red Alert

Specifies if this projectile should use the PARABOMB image (a parachute-retarded bomb).

In Yuri's Revenge with Ares

Specifies if the animation from [General]BombParachute= should be drawn on the projectile.

Notes

This is not just a visual effect. The existence of the parachute will have a real impact on the projectile behavior. This is very obvious on a Vertical projectile. You need to use Acceleration to offset its impact.
